Many Bloggers like to be able to relate their stories and progress on a single blog to which they are the only contributor - and I think that this has much to commend it for some blogs. However, there are some of us dying to reply with " sorry to hear that" or "that's good news" type of replies.
Do you think that a thread such as this one on the Blog site would provide such an outlet? If not, I wil try to delete it - or just let it die a natural death.

PS Glad to hear the RTX is still working, Monty. This month marks the second anniversary of my last infusion - and its still working. Just MTX injections now - no painkillers nor anti inflammatories.

I think that's quite a good idea Richard.
Usually we just start a thread on one of the other sites with FAO....whoever's blog we are commenting on but to have this on here is a good idea.
Great to hear how well you are doing!

Yes this is a good idea, Richard! I don't mind people writing/commenting on mine anyway but I know some others might..

SO glad to hear how well you're doing, long may this last!

Thank you Melly, for the prayers, they mean so much!

Love,

Amanda

Blogs can be such a good thing for so many reasons, people in a similar situation can read how things are going, it can also be quite therapeutic for the author too.

Good idea for a thread Richard, as I've always felt blogs to be a two way thing, even if it's just a short "glad you're doing well on the new medication" in some ways it removes one of the worst features of RA or any other long term condition and that can be isolation or feeling that those around you just don't understand.
